Responsibility

Responsible for attending and present material reports updates at daily Status Meetings, maintaining Status Reports for assigned Aircraft. Work with Production and Buyer’s to make sure correct parts are purchased, tracked, and received in a timely manner. Coordinate with production on requisitions such as:. Verifying each requisition has a Non-routine, Routine, Engineering Authorization, Customer Task Card or equivalent attached. Entering new part numbers in the Master Part Number File under the correct p/n and help clean up any discrepancies found in Master Parts file. Change part #s on requisitions when alternates are found by Buyer and approved by production. Add notes to all lines on Status Report for assigned Aircraft, plus add Customer notes and shipping information. This includes updates from customers. Coordinate with vendors and/or Buyers to acquire shipping information for all parts ordered by VTMAE. Work with Receiving Inspection and Customer to clear up any parts rejected and quarantined, resolve issues with customer PO’s, and assist with urgent item entries. Notify Receiving, Inspection, and Warehouse, of all inbound hot parts. Attend all Pre-dock meetings on assigned aircraft and all other meeting required. Work with the Customer’s Material Rep and lock-up Lead on Customer supplied material. Work with Production on a daily basis to maintain correct information on Status Reports. Leave turnovers, at the end of each shift, for Night and Weekend personnel. Maintain Aircraft in House List. Run daily Status Reports for Customer and Buyers. Deliver reports to all users. Continually track and monitor open req’s and purchase orders. Track and update MSR’s with accurate delivery information. Perform other assigned duties as required by management
