Responsibility

This position is responsible for making sure inbound and outbound loads are scheduled with the carriers. Communicate daily with customer service and warehouse on loads that are shipping. Scheduling and updating of inbound and outbound loads for various locations, ensuring schedule is accurate. Monitor carrier's performance and update on time% for the month. Ensure transportation problems are resolved in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors, carriers, peers, and various departments within the company on shipping and receiving needs. Ordering and tracking of rail cars. Weighing different types of trucks and directing them to the appropriate dock. Track loads. Utilize emails, phone calls, and in person communication. Printing driver paperwork for outbound shipments for signatures

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a company in the Florence, SC area. This position is responsible for making sure inbound and outbound loads are scheduled with the carriers. This position reports directly to the Logistic Manager.
