Responsibility

Logistics Manager and have the lead in supporting the Tulsa Bus Plant with inbound transportation. You will be part of the logistics team that is responsible for defining and executing strategies for Navistar’s inbound logistics, while providing excellent operational support to the plants. In this role, you will be responsible for Tulsa inbound logistics daily operations and savings/process improvement, including:. Building and maintaining relationships to provide excellent logistics support for the plant, including logistics, supply chain, finance, procurement, 3PL, carriers, and warehouse. Understanding and problem-solving considering plant and supplier constraints and logistics requirements to avoid plant downtime. Analyzing Tulsa inbound and outbound contracted lanes for improvement opportunities and track through plant logistics metrics and KPIs and expedites. Identifying opportunities to improve logistics operational support for the plant and reducing logistics spend and emissions together with 3PL. Participating in the development of the Tulsa logistics budget and forecasting and monitoring the daily financial metrics. Monitoring trailer dwell to minimize cost and plant interruptions with 3PL. Involvement in carrier business reviews with key carriers for the Tulsa Bus Plant and participation in addressing performance issues as needed. Supporting logistics strategies and long-term planning. Cross-training within the Logistics team to provide support to the other manufacturing plants as needed

You will be part of the logistics team that is responsible for defining and executing strategies for Navistar’s inbound logistics, while providing excellent operational support to the plants. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • At least 5 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience OR • Master’s degree • At least 3 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience OR • At least 7 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience Additional Requirements • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
