Responsibility

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities. Performs functions such as inventory management and control, material procurement, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers. Develops logistics policies and procedures. Verifies physical inventory against an inventory database and works to correct inaccuracies. Contributes to the completion of specific logistics projects. Conducts internal inventory audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to quality, cost and delivery performance standards. Build spreadsheets to track and manage multiple tasks. Help manage Navy inventory across several databases including MS Access, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and ERP. Resolves supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability. Helps with shipping and receiving to Navy shipyards and global fleet support. Writes and edits the logistics policies, procedures, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Statements of Work (SOWs). Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays
