Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance is required for the position. You must be comfortable supporting tasks for a Systems Administrator that is fast-paced that cover a gambit of activities: domain administration, systems infrastructure, and systems maintenance of complex IT environments with, associated system support of storage and network infrastructures. TS/SCI w/ polygraph. As a Sr Systems Administrator. Hands on SA experiences with Linux and Microsoft-based systems, servers and workstations. Must have SA experience with and/or have knowledge of RHEL 7, RHEL 8, RHEL9, and VMWare. (Linux, Red Hat/RHEL, CentOS). Must be proficient with Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, and Active Directory. Experience with OS and Application Hardening to include DISA, Best Practices, and High Assurance environments. Demonstrated ability to deploy software/hardware components, patches, and upgraded operating systems, system backup and restore functions. Experience with and/or be familiar with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus. Knowledge of administering Apache Tomcat, IIS, and/or SQL server databases. Strong understanding of information systems security principles and practices. More than a familiarity administration of systems software and systems security architectures. Strong understanding of Network Administratio : Switches, Routers, LANs, & cabling. 10 years or more experience as a Linux/RH/CentOS systems administrator/sys admin. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Ability to document and providing information for security accreditation and certification of systems. Understanding of advanced security protocols & standards to ensure secure systems and networks. Supports Network Security Technologies and policy (e.g. Multiple Domain, PKI, SSP, and Vulnerability Assessment). Experience with High Assurance platforms and application integration testing methods of systems. Experience with disk arrays, PowerShell and PowerCLI, KVMs,. Knowledge of PKI systems which uses HSMs to validate key and NTP for synchronization. Must have experience administering /optimizing system operations
