Responsible for administration, support and optimization of Red Hat Linux based systems in virtualized and non-virtualized environments. • Candidate should have strong trouble shooting and scripting skills. • Manage and maintain VMware HPE SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability. • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and environments. • Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere and HPE SimpliVity. • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. • Automate system administration tasks using scripting and automation tools. • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients. • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems. Job Description: • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. • Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Qualifications: • 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters • Equivalency: Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience. Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. • 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
