Responsibility
Manage and maintain VMware HPE SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and environments. Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere and HPE SimpliVity. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. Automate system administration tasks using scripting and automation tools. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
