Training length is dependent upon previous experience but is typically around 8 weeks. You become a core member of the management team while simultaneously gaining experience in each culinary staff role. Culinary candidates generally pursue one of two tracks: one which leads an Executive Chef role or one which leads to the detailed operating responsibilities for a particular restaurant (General Management). Starting salary ranges from $85,000-$95,000 depending on experience. Compensation growth is performance-based and many Culinary Managers in our company earn over $140K per year.
