HUB LOCATIONS: Bloomington, IL or Richardson, TX SPONSORSHIP: Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity Responsibilities Seeking a network security analyst to join a fast-paced team responsible for remote network access and security. The product team is responsible for the management and administration of State Farm’s User VPN, B2B VPN, Virtual Desktop Security, Entra Conditional Access, and emerging enablement of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). The team supports the products end-to-end using agile methodologies; from providing daily service and troubleshooting to architecting the future state of remote network access. The team works with all levels within the enterprise to understand business objectives and develop solutions that meet those needs while managing risk and adhering to established security practices. The primary responsibility will include providing Enterprise operational support. The applicant will be required to work with multiple technology teams within the Enterprise to coordinate troubleshooting and implementation steps. The applicant also will be involved in the continued evolution of the network security architecture with both short and long-term aspirational states. Key Responsibilities: • Participation with business partners in strategic design to translate security and business requirements into technical designs and solutions. • Researching/investigating emerging Cyber Security topics, threats, capabilities, and solution options. • Understands the evolving Cyber Attacks landscape and possible security controls. Qualifications • Good knowledge of the technologies in network security pertaining to Remote Access (VPN) and Virtual Desktop (VDI) security. • Good knowledge of AWS. • Good knowledge of Entra ID (Azure). • Working knowledge of next-generation firewalls and Secure Web Gateways (SWG). • Experience in TCP/IP networking. • Ability to capture and analyze Network traces. • Good knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and principles. • Strong background in Windows operating system and security concepts. • Background in Linux operating system and security concepts is a plus. Additional skills/qualifications/experiences desired for the position: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems logically and systematically. • The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Excellent written communication skills for the creation of project documentation and the necessary work orders needed for product deployment and support. • Excellent verbal communication skills in working with and mentoring other team members, other support areas, and business partners in the resolution of issues. • Experience with the Service Management disciplines related to Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management. • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to handle competing priorities, be self-motivated, and work independently. • Cloud and/or Security certifications demonstrating proficiency in the required skiills #LI-LG1 #LI-Hybrid SFARM
