You'll be working to lead the way, but you will work collaboratively with check-ins and planning. Full time IT professional to operate, monitor, maintain, and service a business with between 50 and 100 computers, multiple physical servers, switches, routers, and other IT equipment. Environment is a freshly transformed IT environment with now really solid infrastructure for security and networking, but it also still has lots of opportunity to keep improving so your ideas and interest for new best practices to help make things better are encouraged. Manage user accounts and permissions to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies. Usually standard 8 hour work days, but must be able to start early (7am), and usually end early (3 - 4pm). Able to perform patch management. Understands and adheres to Information Security best practices

About the job Maprehend has a customer in the manufacturing industry who needs an IT person to help keep the business running smoothly. We also just revamped their IT environment and would like you to continue to help inject best practices and good IT measures to continue to make the environment better and better. You'll be working to lead the way, but you will work collaboratively with check-ins and planning. We have found for this role that we need to make sure you're cooperative and able to be happy to take guidance from a team even if there is an impasse (different view and ideas). We want to work with someone who can give us recommendations to good ideas. But ultimately, we need to make sure the person who joins our team can embrace different ideas and follow them as if they're yours if that's the team mission.
