Responsibility
Drive incremental sales growth by cultivating business relationships with prospective customers in the cannabis (medical and adult use) and CBD space. Perform outbound sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities. Research dispensaries to identify gaps and needs in dispensary operations and product offerings. Engage in telesales outreach (cold calling) to generate new customer leads. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Present, promote and sell Ember products/services to existing and prospective customers. Utilize HubSpot to manage sales pipeline and ongoing customer communications. Present sales review and ongoing performance to leadership team

We are seeking highly motivated sales professionals to help us bring Ember’s world-class suite of products to cannabis dispensaries worldwide. Responsibilities • Drive incremental sales growth by cultivating business relationships with prospective customers in the cannabis (medical and adult use) and CBD space. • Perform outbound sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities • Research dispensaries to identify gaps and needs in dispensary operations and product offerings • Engage in telesales outreach (cold calling) to generate new customer leads • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments • Present, promote and sell Ember products/services to existing and prospective customers • Utilize HubSpot to manage sales pipeline and ongoing customer communications • Present sales review and ongoing performance to leadership team Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: • Demonstrate a strong ability to create and cultivate an active network of relationships both inside and outside the organization; ability to leverage relationships to accomplish sales and profitability goals. • Strong leadership and negotiation skills; ability to persuade or influence others • Ability to identify customer needs and tailor communications and customer-facing activities appropriately • Effective communication skills; verbal, written and able to communicate both internally and externally • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in an unsupervised setting Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years sales and account management experience (ideally B2B Sales, SaaS, Cannabis, Payments) • Successful professional growth in a high paced retail environment • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to a specific audience • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 • Solid understanding of electronic payments and alternative payment methods (Venmo, Zelle, etc.) • Familiarity with BSA/AML rules and regulations • Willingness to learn and open to feedback • Enthusiastic about the cannabis industry and a high-paced startup environment • Compensation structure is 100% commission-based with the opportunity to transition to salaried full-time employee.
