Responsibility
This role’s primary objective is to lead and manage PCA National digital projects. The role will also handle some hands-on work and must have in depth knowledge of sysadmin functions and all PCA technology. The IT Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our technology and IT support services. The person in this position will interact with staff, contractors, volunteers, and others throughout the PCA/Porsche community to improve our members’ and guests’ online experience. This position will involve management of team members and projects. Project Planning and Coordination. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets. Coordinate resources, tasks and activities to ensure timely project execution. Manage subcontractors and developers for website design and IT support services. Monitor project progress; track action items; examine, research, and resolve issues; escalate issues to appropriate authority; respond to concerns; troubleshoot issues, manage tickets, and test fixes before they are rolled out. Lead development efforts with blend of inside development and outside vendors. Conduct research and analysis to identify digital trends, best practices and opportunities for the club. Work with the marketing and communications team to develop digital strategies aligned with organizational goals. Provide recommendations for improving digital platforms, tools and processes. Oversee the management and maintenance of the club’s websites and other platforms. Manage digital and data processes for membership, national and regional leadership as the roles interact with PCA’s website and digital platforms. Coordinate updates, enhancements and optimization efforts. Monitor website and digital performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Support staff functions and Membership, Marketing, Event, Technical, Finance and Content Teams. Oversee all IT related functions in national HQ Office, as well as remote employees, to support club efforts, including user management, network security, domain logins, printers, phones, security cameras, and all other technologies related to the proper function of PCA’s workflow. Manage digital aspects of membership process including autorenew, digital membership cards, member accounts and reports, webstore, APIs and all other related processes. Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to develop and optimize national processes and projects. Manage PCA computer-related hardware and software for proper function and EOL replacements. Manage website and digital assets as a resource to provide a smooth user experience for National HQ Staff, Executive Council, National Volunteers, Region Officers, General Members, Test Drive Subscribers and Prospective Members. Work with staff to implement/maintain numerous PCA microsites, event registrations and other digital properties. Work with key stakeholders to ensure the proper and secure operations for PCA for both online and intra-office needs. IT Management for PCA-related efforts, including the maintenance and security of all PCA networks, internal and external. Analytics and Reporting. Utilize web analytics tools to track and analyze traffic, user behavior and performance metrics. Generate regular reports to stakeholders on project status, key performance indicators and outcomes.
