Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. Four (4) years of experience in revenue, accounting, finance field, or related field. Responsibility

The Associate Director of Revenue Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue (i.e. billing thru payment receipt cycle) within the Division of Industry and Defense Programs (IDP) at Wichita State University. This includes, but is not limited to, managing customer invoicing, accounts receivable, payments, collections, and regulatory requirements for federal, state, and/or industry payments. The position works closely with internal partners to ensure that revenue management strategies align with overall department goals and objectives. Provides leadership and strategic direction for the planning, development, implementation, operation and administration of policies, procedures, and strategies for revenue within the division. Partners closely with other areas of finance, operations, and/or labs to ensure that revenue management strategies align with goals and objectives. Directs, supervises, and coordinates overall Revenue Operations and Management functions and activities in accordance with standards established by institutional, governmental, and other regulatory entities. Provides daily oversight of departmental Revenue Operations Management, ensuring services are consistently delivered and transactions are accurately accounted for areas within the division. Resolves problems and recommends changes to revenue operations and management. Identifies areas for improvements and drives change initiatives to improve overall revenue operations and financial outcomes. Ensures processes occur accurately and timely within assigned areas, holding the revenue team accountable for driving results. Presents reports on the status of the departmental revenue operations and performance to applicable management and leadership teams. Evaluates the effectiveness of information technology applications to support operations and oversees enhancements/implementation of new applications, as needed. Collects data, prepares reports, analyzes statistics, and responds to correspondence effectively. Manages special projects assigned
