Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, such as Day Habs, residential homes, Supported Residences and commercial buildings. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a clean and comfortable environment for our clients. Duties: Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as those listed below: Workspaces & Living room / den • Vacuum and Clean floors. • Wipe down doors, frames, window & frames, light fixtures, vents, fans, & baseboards. • Clean and dust furniture. • Clean desks, closets, and shelving • Empty trash. Kitchen • Clean counters, sinks/stove tops. • Clean outside of dishwasher and refrigerator. • Clean inside of Microwave. • Clean outside surface of all cabinets and drawers. • Wipe down doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures, vents, fans, & baseboards as needed. • Spot clean walls as needed. • Clean inside of windows. • Clean and dust furniture. • Clean Floor. Bathroom Thoroughly clean counters, toilets, sinks & bathtub/shower. • Clean floors • Clean outside of all cabinets • Wipe down doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures (with step stool provided), vents, fans, & baseboards. • Spot clean walls as needed. Bedroom • Wipe down doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures, vents, fans, & baseboards as needed. • Spot clean walls as needed. • Clean all closets. • Clean Floor • Clean and dust all furniture. • Make bed hotel style. We are happy to change the bed linen, please let us know if you would like this service. • Fold clothing retail style. Requirements: - Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred - Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques is a plus - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary - Familiarity with housekeeping procedures is an asset Meaningful NY is an EEO employer-EEO, AAE, M/F/D/V As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various settings, including commercial and industrial spaces.
