Cleaning Basic Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment; familiar with cleaning products, chemicals, and safety procedures. Digital Literacy: Basic skills to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (navigate in Windows, Outlook, epic EHR, etc.). Coordination: Integration of activities, structures, and responsibilities so that resources are used most effectively to meet objectives. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; resolves accuracy and relevance of information; applies appropriate tools and staff resources along with sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Safety Testing and Practices: Knowledge and application of safety practices, fire and disaster policies and procedures; safety testing, performance verification, and operations procedures for various types of equipment
Responsibility
Maintenance of hard surface flooring, carpeted surfaces and performance of special work assignments will be regular responsibilities. Cleans all offices, occupied patient rooms, discharged units and/or surgical rooms as assigned to provide a clean and sanitized environment. Completes terminal /cycle cleaning as assigned in surgical rooms; providing a clean and sanitized environment. Regularly maintains hard surface flooring and carpeted surfaces to ensure a clean, attractive condition. Regularly maintains and performs special project assignments, such as, but not limited to, window, cubicle curtain, upholstery, vent, and light cleaning. Arranges set-ups and completes departmental moves. Maintains linen distribution system to provide user areas with adequate amounts of linen within timeframes, polices, and procedures found in Housekeeping/Linen policy and procedures manual. Cleans up after emergency spills and breakage to prevent exposure to substances that could be safety hazards. Collects and disposed of refuse as defined in and within timeframes, polices, and procedures found in Housekeeping/Linen policy and procedures manual. Restocks supplies upon daily cleaning of area to ensure they are adequately filled. Promotes and ensures Security and Safety throughout the facility. Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards. Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements. Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned

Overview M Health Fairview is looking for a Project Specialist at Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This position is 40 hours per two week pay period on the Evening Shift. This is a benefit eligible position! Summary: This position provides to patients, visitors, and staff a clean and safe environment. Maintenance of hard surface flooring, carpeted surfaces and performance of special work assignments will be regular responsibilities.
