Description Santa Monica Proper is looking for a House Attendant. A seamless merger of historic retrofit and new construction, the 271-room Santa Monica Proper Hotel features interior design by international style icon Kelly Wearstler, multiple dining options by local area culinary stars, a rooftop lounge and swimming pool and 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The House Attendant will be an integral member of our Housekeeping Team and will ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. The House Attendant will provide customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. Job Overview • Clean and maintain all guest and heart-of-the house areas, corridors, restrooms, elevators and landings and service areas on guest room floors, ensuring hotel's standards of cleanliness • Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests, Housekeeping and Front Office Managers • Maintain the quality and consistency of the guest experience • Maintain compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards • Perform other housekeeping tasks as business demands require Qualifications • Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance in a hospitality environment preferred • Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills • The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent data • Strong problem-solving skills • Work flexible schedules and willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays • Collaborate with Colleagues cross-departmentally • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy • Work cohesively with Colleagues as part of a team Education High school diploma preferred.
