Responsibility
We are looking for a Hospitality Aide who is responsible for supporting the residents, dietary, and nursing staff by assisting with resident needs centered around meal service and delivery, documentation of meal and fluid intake, and other ancillary services as directed by nursing management not requiring the skills of a certified nursing assistant. 48 hours every two weeks. Day/Evening Shift. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotations. Answering call lights and responding or notifying the appropriate staff member. Assist residents with filling out their meal menus. Passing meal trays and snacks. Record residents meal and snack intake. May be requested to assist with taking meal orders on other long-term care units. Clean resident wheelchairs and cleans/sanitizes lift machines and vital sign towers as advised by the RN. Reports any noted changes in resident condition as appropriate to licensed nursing staff, reports resident grievances promptly to charge nurse or RN manager. Attends department meetings and in-services. Notifies department staff of housekeeping/maintenance of room and equipment repair needs. Performs other duties as assigned and advised
