Responsibility
Shift differential for weekends. BENEFITTED POSITION FOR 30 HOURS AND OVER WEEKLY. *For full-time caregivers meeting certain requirements. Responsible for starting the patient's care, including nursing assessment, medication reconciliation, safety assessments and implementing standardized protocols. Administers prescribed medications (typically intravenously), obtains blood samples, inserts foley catheters and provides therapeutic interventions. Educates patient on how to manage their illness, prescribed medications, nursing interventions, and care plan. Identifies and acts on changes in patient's condition. Evaluates and revises care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environments. Documents all assessments, interventions and care coordination details. Participates in regular, in-service or special case orientations as needed. Participates in on-call rotation. Performs all other duties as assigned
