One of the responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to utilize the nursing process to ensure patients receive high-quality and consistent nursing care while in their own homes. Responsibilities • Finalize and scan necessary record-keeping forms and charts each time a guest is admitted, transferred, or discharged. • Consolidate the nursing documentation in a structured and detailed way, accurately depicting the care received by the patient and their responses to the treatment rendered. • Highlight any variations found in physician's orders, changes in diets, charting mistakes, etc., and report them to the Director of Nursing. • Follow the proper protocols by documenting unauthorized discharges accurately in the guest's medical record. Qualifications • Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license required or Compact State license- required. • 2 years of LPN/LVN experience is a must-have for applicants. • Being able to educate patients and family members on various diseases and possessing a deep understanding of medications and wound treatment methods.
