Responsibility
The Home Health Care Consultant, under the direction of the Area Market Executive and Sales Director, is responsible for sourcing admissions through direct community contacts which educate healthcare providers and the general public about the Home Health Program. Represent Compassus positively and professionally within the community. Maintain a relationship with all referral sources to make sure we are meeting their needs, as well as those of the patients, families, support staff, etc. Provide accurate information regarding Home Health services in response to inquiries by healthcare providers and the general public. Prepare and conduct calls and presentations to potential referral sources. Coordinate with clinical management staff in planning in-services and presentations, and in addressing issues with referral sources. Initiate and coordinate contract negotiations with facilities, insurance companies, and managed care organizations
