Job Description: Home Health Aide Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes, supporting them with daily tasks and promoting their independence and well-being. After-school Family Assistant needed. Provide support to a family by assisting with various tasks and activities, ensuring a smooth transition between school and home. Assist with homework, engage in creative and educational activities, and monitor children's well-being. Collaborate with parents to maintain a structured routine and promote proper time management. Help with light household chores and meal preparations as necessary. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous childcare experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Home Health Aides play a crucial role in helping clients maintain their personal hygiene and dignity. • Medication Reminders: Provide reminders to clients to take their medications as prescribed by their healthcare providers. Home Health Aides may also assist with medication administration under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare professional. • Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices such as walkers or wheelchairs. Home Health Aides may also provide support with exercises and range of motion activities to promote strength and flexibility. • Companionship: Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, recreational activities, and social outings as appropriate. Home Health Aides build meaningful relationships with clients and provide vital companionship to combat loneliness and isolation. • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light tidying to help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for clients. Home Health Aides may also assist with grocery shopping and errands as needed. • Communication: Communicate regularly with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on the client's condition and ensure continuity of care. Home Health Aides must have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the care team. Requirements: • Completion of a state-approved home health aide training program. • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients. • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
