The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for employing the nursing process to ensure that patients receive the best quality and uninterrupted nursing care while in their homes. Responsibilities • Undertake the responsibility of completing and digitally archiving required record-keeping forms and charts for guests upon admission, transfer, or discharge. • Summarize the nursing records in a comprehensive and detailed fashion that portrays the care dispensed to the patient and the patient's responses to the care administered. • Inform the Director of Nursing about any variations seen in physician's instructions, dietary adjustments, documentation errors, etc. • Accurately record any unauthorized discharges in the guest's medical file according to the approved documentation protocols. Qualifications • The position requires candidates to hold an active LPN/LVN license or a license from a state that is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact. • Required for the role is a minimum of two years of experience as an LPN/LVN. • Possessing the ability to instruct patients and their loved ones on a range of medical conditions, along with a solid knowledge of medications and wound healing techniques.
