Department Overview The Home Care and Hospice department at Children's provides care and support for patients who live in the Twin Cities seven-county metropolitan area. The team is made up of registered nurses, clinical social workers, child life specialists, chaplains, and intake coordinator who work collaboratively to provide care in the patients home. Services provided include home care and home care pharmacy, hospice care, palliative care, perinatal hospice program, and Children's Institute for Palliative Care. Education/Certification: • Current Minnesota RN License, required. • BSN, preferred. • Current BLS Certification, required. • Pediatric experience, preferred. • Home care experience, preferred. • Infusion experience, preferred. • Venipuncture skills, preferred.
