Responsibility
The Head of Sales and Marketing thrives in a culture of accountability, will diligently and consistently manage our sales pipeline including working with an external marketing company to bring in new leads, qualifying new leads to ensure it’s a win-win for both the client and us, and most importantly CLOSING new deals. New Logo Sales. Follow up on all leads that come in from marketing. Hold sales appointments to qualify. Close new deals. Hit your sales targets. Manage the overall sales pipeline. Know your numbers and track them diligently to achieve sales goals for the year. Business Development & Networking. Prospect for new opportunities, through networking, events, strategic partnerships, Linked-In and referrals. Consistently follow up on all prospects with rigor. Track everything “religiously” in our CRM. Lead Generation. Work with an external marketing company and/or internal marketing and sales staff to generate the requisite raw leads that will convert into sales appointments. Accountable for results from the overall marketing strategy. Sales & Marketing Processes. Ensure we have rock-solid sales and marketing processes that consistently generates results. Ensure all CORE processes related to you and your team have been simplified, documented and they are being followed by all (FBA). Ensure any processes and checklists related to the sales and marketing team are accurate, followed and contribute to the overall success of the team. Leading, Managing and Holding others Accountable (LMA). Set annual sales plans and goals. Hold quarterly planning meetings with your team and set thoughtful quarterly initiatives (“Rocks”) that contribute to annual goals and/or YOUR top three expected results. Come prepared to quarterly and annual meetings and ensure that your team also has Rocks that either cascade or contribute to annual operating plan. You and your team should achieve an 80% or higher completion rate for Rocks consistently every quarter. Hold and lead a weekly sales meeting at the same day, time and with the same agenda. Know and hold each person accountable to “their number” (and your own!). Have quarterly conversations with each of your direct reports using the 5-5-5 methodology (Roles, Rocks and Core Values). Keep track of their performance using the “People Analyzer” tool. Develop training and education development plans for staff. Participate in ongoing sales leadership learning opportunities and/or education programs

Required Skills • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales • Proven success prospecting and closing sales • Working in Managed IT Service Provider business, preferred and/or • Working with Non-Profits, Churches and B-Corps in a professional capacity Preferred Skills • Proven record developing and managing to a Sales Process/Playbook • Proficient using professional CRMs and other sales tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator or Pardot • A great “business networker” • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Pay range and compensation package Full time, Hybrid position Starting at $85K Base ($150K+ per annum with ability earn more Total OTE) If you are a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for driving sales and networking, we would love to hear from you.
