Responsibility

This role involves working directly with US-based brands to enhance their ecommerce presence in China (Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, Little Red Book, and more). This position will report directly to the Global Vice President of Sales and work closely with Pattern’s head of APAC, based in China. Help the global Pattern sales team close U.S. deals for our China business. Interface with our China team to educate prospects on our approach. Up-level the selling culture from tactical business outcomes to a cohesive strategic vision. Develop a culture of solution-based selling with a focus on value-based outcomes VS. feature/function. Deliver aggressive sales plans by segment and individual. Make sure compensation plans drive desired behavior. Be an exemplary brand champion and work closely with marketing and product to maximize brand awareness and lead generation possibilities. Overall management of sales team activity:. Comfortable using Salesforce and Strategic Selling Methodologies. – MEDDIC, Solution Selling and Challenger Sale Methodologies. Analyze assignments of accounts and territory management for maximum results. Implement process improvement opportunities so direct reports have more, true sales time. Monitor regional competitors and provide feedback to global marketing and product teams

As the Head of Sales - China Accelerator, you will be responsible for this segment of the company’s overall strategic GTM i.e. revenue generation and new partner acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader with a demonstrated track record of success with at least 4 years of complex selling experience. This position will report directly to the Global Vice President of Sales and work closely with Pattern’s head of APAC, based in China. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred.
