Responsibility

Set-up & operation of a variety of manufacturing machine tools and/or specialized equipment such as, millers, grinders, presses, tack welder, various lathes, etc., both conventional and numerically controlled, to produce hardware that meets close tolerance limitations. Perform intermediate mathematical calculations. Use various precision gages/inspection measuring equipment/fixturing to mechanically and visually, inspect products/hardware. Interpret intermediate level mechanical blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications and/or drawings, etc., to determine set-ups, operations, inspections necessary to complete job tasks. Identifying and controlling the processing of quality-related nonconforming and/or noncompliant products and materials, such as, Preliminary Review quality process, etc. Perform related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, production-flow, continuous improvement job duties to support plant machinery, equipment, and manufacturing-related initiatives and programs. Maintain detailed job task documentation, reports, and records. This is a 3rd shift position
