Overview West Michigan Janitorial provides industry-leading janitorial service to businesses in West Michigan. We employ over 500 Team Members for positions cleaning in school & commercial environments in and around Holland. We are looking for a flexible Floating Custodian/Janitor to serve accounts in the Lakeshore (Holland, Saugatuck, Grand Haven) area. Responsibilities of the Floating Custodian/Janitor: • Cover cleaning routes as needed: • Clean and restock restrooms • Empty Trash receptacles • Dust office equipment • Wipe down hard surfaces • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors • Clean interior windows/ doors • Occasionally may perform quality checks Job Skills / Requirements Requirements of the Floating Custodian/Janitor: • Strong organizational skills • Self motivated • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners) • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials • Must be able to pass a background and fingerprint check Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift Time: Will vary between 1st and 2nd shift - MUST be flexible in this role, Schedule may change day-to-day Hours Available: Full-time, 40 hours per week Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Benefits: Paid Personal Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Medical, Dental, Vision and Employer Paid Life Insurance Additional Information / Benefits Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays & Life Insurance Benefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays This is a Full-Time position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift.
