Responsibility
This includes oversight of end to end operations of the Tin Building by Jean-Georges, The Lawn Club and the Bar at the Lawn Club, The Rooftop at Pier 17 (concessions, pop-ups, VIP lounges and events in the Winter Tent), The Fulton by Jean-Georges, Malibu Farm, and SEG’s growing Events Business. This role will also participate in the discovery, negotiations and execution of new and evolving projects and partnerships as they arise. They will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service, quality, brand standards, and profitability for the company and play a key role in carrying out company strategy, particularly in the areas of Fine Dining, Entertainment, Bar and Events. They will be a change-agent focused on enhancing guest experience, translating strategic operational goals into tactical plans and maximizing financial performance. What You Will Do Oversee all aspects of Hospitality operations, including but not limited to Food & Beverage, Retail, QSR, Culinary and Events while ensuring brand standards, presentation, and quality of service are consistently executed at the highest level. Manage emerging business ventures (pop-ups, new partnerships, etc). Participate in negotiations where applicable. Effectively manage through appropriate partners and stakeholders as needed. Oversee our growing events function including ensuring appropriate team structure and revenue goals. Manage temporary pop-ups and carry out seasonal concept changes. Continuously manage budgets, revenue goals, financial performance, and P&L for all businesses and take appropriate action(s) when required. Provide day-to-day support to all venues to ensure quality of operation and consistency of execution. Ensure successful implementation of all marketing strategies in conjunction with the Marketing team. Partner with the Head of Marketing to support and monitor marketing strategies to build sales and overall business. Ensure the continuous analysis and evaluation of food concepts and formats, design and related marketing and other activities to consistently build business. Ensure comprehensive programs are in place to handle challenging guest situations and effectively manage customer complaints. Monitor and continually improve location performance through analysis of key metrics such as guest feedback, customer traffic, and financial results. Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment to drive operational excellence. Ensure the team understands financial responsibilities, service standards, brand concept(s), leadership, and overall business strategies by training, coaching, and developing. Drive results through staff development and training programs; monitor results through evaluation, inspection, and analysis. Demonstrate and hold direct reports accountable for acting with the highest levels of professional and leadership standards. In partnership with HR, ensure efficiency of staffing levels are consistently maximized. Consistently act as a company ambassador and support the business in efforts to attract, train, develop and retain employees.
