Description Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright and self-motivated individual to support our Trade & Latin America/Canada Policy leadership team in Washington, DC. This role will report directly to the Program Manager, Public Policy, and provide administrative and substantive support for two Public Policy leaders, including background research, preparing briefing materials, calendaring, expense reconciliation, and booking travel as needed. The role also will support the growing Trade & Latin America/Canada Policy team on projects related to correspondence, budget management, and cross-team coordination. Finally, this role will assist Public Policy leadership on specific day-to-day deliverables and big-picture projects. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Washington Dc, DC, USA Basic Qualifications • At least two years of experience as an executive or administrative assistant. • Experience with domestic and international travel coordination. • Experience scheduling meetings with international participants across multiple time zones. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • An ability and desire to travel is required. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. • Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills; demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact with senior executives. • Experience working in a trade association, law firm, or similar environment. • Experience supporting budget and expense management. • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment. • Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
