Responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, and executing events, as well as managing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets. Manage Private Events staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews. Oversee staff scheduling, time sheets, and labor budgets. Ensure compliance with California Labor Laws and hotel policies. Maintain effective communication with staff, department heads, and clients. Conduct pre-shift meetings, monitor staff performance, and provide excellent customer service. Manage inventory, storeroom organization, and equipment maintenance. Liaise with Housekeeping Manager to ensure cleanliness and organization. Develop and implement Beverage Control procedures and new ideas for set ups and décor. Attend weekly meetings, conduct inventory audits, and perform other administrative tasks as needed. Assist with food and beverage operations when no events are scheduled. Learn daily opening and closing responsibilities for F&B spaces. Understand ADP, Tips entering, and POS systems. Be familiar with all F&B offerings, menus, and space setups. Perform daily walks of F&B spaces, maintain waste logs, and conduct periodic inventory counts. Any other duties as assigned. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
