Position Overview: As Equipment & Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of our training equipment, from vendor relationships and procurement to quality control and installation supervision. This role is critical in maintaining D1 Training's high standards for facility excellence across our expanding network of locations. Key Responsibilities: ● Manage all aspects of equipment ordering, tracking, and distribution to D1 Training locations ● Oversee equipment installation projects, ensuring proper setup and safety compliance ● Conduct quality control inspections of received equipment and maintain documentation ● Develop and maintain relationships with equipment vendors and shipping partners ● Optimize supply chain processes and identify cost-saving opportunities ● Coordinate with facility managers to schedule installations and address equipment needs ● Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast equipment requirements Required Qualifications: ● 3+ years of experience in gym equipment installation and maintenance ● Proven track record in logistics and supply chain management ● Strong understanding of fitness equipment specifications and safety standards ● Experience in vendor management and procurement ● Excellent project management and problem-solving skills ● Valid driver's license and ability to travel Preferred Qualifications: ● Background in athletic training or sports facility management ● Experience with inventory management systems ● Knowledge of fitness industry equipment suppliers and standards ● Certification in logistics or supply chain management Benefits: ● Competitive salary based on experience ● Comprehensive health insurance ● 401(k) with company match ● Paid time off and holidays ● Professional development opportunities ● Access to D1 Training facilities Growth Opportunity: As D1 Training continues its nationwide expansion, this role offers significant opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
