Responsibility

This position will be in the field for at least three weeks for the first six months. Responsibilities Performing a variety of field work including environmental assessments, investigations, site inspections, sampling, and subcontractor oversight;. Scheduling and oversight of subcontractors performing utility locating, geophysics, excavation, drilling, and construction;. Interpreting geologic and hydrogeologic observations from soil borings, excavations, trenches, and monitoring wells;. Supporting data analysis and report preparation;. Preparing permit applications and compliance plans (e.g., SWPPP, SPCC, etc.);

Overview TRC is seeking a Staff Geologist to join our growing Engineering and Remediation Practice in Greenville, SC. This position would be part of a skilled team that works closely with Project Managers and other technical leads performing due diligence, construction/remediation oversight, process, industrial compliance, and other environmental engineering activities, including field inspections and sampling.
