Responsibility

Provides and analyzes post production spare/repair data to manage program items throughout the supply chain process. Analyzes material location and initiates redirect actions as necessary working with their asset management counterpart. Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system. Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs. Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies. Identifies supply chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues. Work to ensure non-conforming material is reconciled in a timely manner. Leads and works various projects to improve processes and flow of material. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supply chain strategies. Manage/execute multiple program spares/repairs. Monitor/support unserviceable returns and receipts. Manage/execute repair purchase order changes working with supplier management. Provide monthly summaries on program top drivers. Provide repair WIP and performance delivery status to internal & external customers. Participate in Vertical Program performance/business reviews. Review/analyze material consumption data. Work with 3PL to advise and improve their processes and services to meet customer’s needs. New business & proposal development support – Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW, SDRL requirements, capacity and performance requirements

The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of the Boeing GWL Warehouse Management team. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): • Experience in supply chain procurement and/or warehouse inventory management • Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals • Experience working both independently and in team environments • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word • Ability to travel 10% of the time • Capacity of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred • Knowledge of Boeing Supply Chain systems - GOLD, TAMS (WOW, COPPR, TAV), OCMS • Experience functioning in a cross-functional environment Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
