The qualified candidate will be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Degree program in Plastics, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, and will possess an uncompromising dedication to safety. One year of manufacturing experience in plastics is desired. This position will provide support and assistance in the following areas: • Capital project management, including scope development, cost estimating, installation, and startup • Installation of new manufacturing machines and coordinating contractor activities • Production trials to qualify products on new machines • Design of tooling and components using SolidWorks • Process improvement, problem-solving, and Root Cause Analysis • Installation of piping and support systems • Maintenance troubleshooting • Organization of engineering documentation and maintenance parts This position is very “hands-on” and requires excellent interpersonal and team skills to go along with strong analytical, qualitative and organizational ability.
