Responsibility

The professional will focus on Site Civil/Land Development projects supporting the Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices nationally. Project types and clients will vary with opportunities to be involved in projects across the United States. Prepares engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects under the supervision of an engineering manager. Designs grading and drainage elements for site improvements. Properly coordinates utility conflict resolutions and designs utility piping systems when required. Analyzes site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movements. Prepares erosion control documents including permitting and SWPPP submittals. Performs hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems. Coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams as needed to finalize all design details. Performs construction assistance related tasks including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating needed revisions (some travel may be required). Works with dynamic design teams including architects, engineers, land use attorneys, surveyors, and contractors
