Responsibility

The Drayage Account Manager will play a key role in launching and managing our new drayage department. This position involves developing and managing customer relationships, overseeing drayage operations, and ensuring the department meets its growth and profitability targets. Lead the setup of the new drayage department, including defining processes, establishing goals, and building the operational framework. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to grow the drayage business. Oversee day-to-day drayage operations, including booking, dispatching, tracking, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Identify and negotiate with drayage carriers, vendors, and service providers to secure competitive rates and ensure service quality. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the department’s performance and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to align drayage services with broader company objectives. Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and expand the customer base for drayage services. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge

As part of our growth strategy, we are launching a new drayage department to enhance our service offerings and better meet our clients' needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drayage Account Manager to lead the startup and development of this new department.
