Responsibility

This critical role within our group will lead a team of 6 Marketing Professionals and manage marketing activities for the entire ARRI Americas group organization. This includes all regional communications, advertising, event organization, social media, press relations, and coordinating efforts with our global marketing team. The ability to foster a dynamic team environment, develop strong relationships with our international and domestic colleagues and customers, communicate in a manner which inspires and intrigues, and to present in a manner that motivates is necessary in this role. The Director, Marketing manages marketing activities for the entire ARRI Americas group organization executing all activities for Camera and Lighting Sales, ARRI Rental and Illumination Dynamics. Proactively develops and implements an internet-based communications plan. Contribute regional postings to ARRI’s social media platforms. Distribute eNewsletters and email blasts using Sugar CRM database. Manage internet news campaigns with external blogs and websites. Develops and executes marketing communications plan for each product group. Works with Product Sales Managers to develop a sales and marketing plan for each product line. Plans and manages annual marketing budget. Manages marketing incentive programs with key resellers, proactively developing plans for events, social media and website, and approving qualified marketing credits. Coordinates marketing activities with other ARRI companies and global marketing team, providing an American market perspective, and leverage marketing communications across various media platforms. Manages major events and tradeshows. Collects market research on productions, camera and DI product placements, aggregating information to supply to sales teams and BU product managers. Represents the company at leading industry organizations, industry events and film festivals. Oversees sponsoring programs. Fosters relationships with key customers and important industry contacts, including cinematographers, gaffers, rental companies, studio production execs, producers and directors. Defines and promotes application-driven integrated Solutions that combine ARRI lighting and camera products. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of staff in accordance with ARRI Inc.’s policies, procedures and all applicable laws. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing and hiring of staff; training of employees; planning assigning and directing work load; appraising performance; coaching and disciplining of staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems

This position can be located in Burbank, CA or Long Island City, NY. This critical role within our group will lead a team of 6 Marketing Professionals and manage marketing activities for the entire ARRI Americas group organization.
