To participate, you must be enrolled in an Amedisys medical plan. Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents the following: The mutual recognition model of nurse licensure allows a nurse to have one license (in his or her state of residency) and to practice in other states (both physical and electronic), subject to each state's practice law and regulation. Board Certified with the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society, the American Board of Wound Management or has completed an advanced practice nurse program (WOCN, CWS, MSN, APRN). Five (5+) years' experience working as a Registered Nurse performing wound care in a clinical setting, with three (3+) of these years in home health care. One year experience managing or leading a team (preferably in a remote role)
Responsibility
Exhibits a high degree of leadership expertise in problem solving, clinical practice standards, job performance skills, and communication. Provides clinical guidance and support to wound care directors in managing daily activities, ensuring timely and appropriate consultative services. Evaluates, adjusts, and prioritizes both personal and wound care directors' caseloads to maintain adequate coverage. Serves as subject matter expert in wound, ostomy, and continence care and management and provides consultation to clinical and operational leadership to promote the delivery of clinically appropriate patient care. Collaborates with other departments and regional leaders to drive consistency and standardization of best practices in providing care. Contributes to the development of wound, ostomy and continence related skills competencies, education, policies, protocols, and standards of care. Utilizes nationally recognized clinical and educational resources to promote standards of practice in wound care. Communicates organizational policies and procedures, evidence-based best practices, and regulatory/industry changes to direct reports. Meets productivity expectations with quality documentation of consultations in HCHB. Maintains current working knowledge of industry best practices, standards of care, CMS Conditions of Participation, and Medicare Home Health Benefit Coverage Criteria. Utilizes data to identify wound patient populations for consultation, ongoing clinical oversight, and ability to improve patient outcomes. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program. Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives. Executes effective performance redirection when needed. Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned

Nurses must legally reside in a NLC state to be eligible to have a multi-state license. • Board Certified with the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society, the American Board of Wound Management or has completed an advanced practice nurse program (WOCN, CWS, MSN, APRN). • Five (5+) years' experience working as a Registered Nurse performing wound care in a clinical setting, with three (3+) of these years in home health care. • One year experience managing or leading a team (preferably in a remote role).
