In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and medical professionals to develop and implement biostatistical methods and models to support the organization’s research and clinical initiatives.We are seeking a candidate with a Master’s degree in biostatistics, public health, or a related field as well as at least three years of experience in biostatistical analysis and programming in SAS and/or R. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques. Responsibilities: Develop and implement biostatistical methods and models to support Kaiser Permanente's research and clinical initiatives. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and medical professionals to ensure quality and accuracy of biostatistical models. Utilize SAS and/or R to perform data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques. Stay up to date with the latest developments in biostatistics and healthcare research. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards. Interpret and communicate research results and implications to various stakeholders. Provide technical advice and guidance to other members of the data science team. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to support research projects. Participate in the development and implementation of data collection strategies. Assist with developing and maintaining efficient data processing systems.
