Responsibility
As a Criminal Defense Attorney in our firm, you will be responsible for. Representing clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges in state and federal courts in Colorado. Conducting thorough legal research to support defense strategies and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Negotiating plea agreements with prosecutors and working towards the best possible outcome for our clients. Preparing for and attending court proceedings, including arraignments, pretrial hearings, trial proceedings, and sentencing hearings. Conducting depositions of witnesses and experts, and gathering evidence to support our clients' defense. Providing mediation services to resolve disputes and avoid trial when possible. Managing case files and maintaining regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of the progress of their cases. Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues and challenges
