Ability to travel between project sites and office facilities as needed and required by the Client

Responsibility

As the Consultant Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of transportation projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will oversee a multi-discipline project delivery team, work closely with the external stakeholders to plan, design, and construct a variety of transportation projects. Responsibility Highlights for our Consultant Project Manager. Manage a portfolio of transportation projects during the following phases of project development (initiation, planning, design, right of way, construction and closeout). Work closely with Caltrans functional team members and external stakeholders. Manage project risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies as needed in order to minimize negative impacts or maximize the benefits of opportunities. Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up to date, including project workplans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. Coordinate with other Caltrans departments and external agencies to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with state and federal regulations and guidelines. Prepare project financial management plans. Facilitate team buy-in and issue resolution as necessary
