The courses being taught will be either face to face, online, or a combination of both. We encourage candidates who are from groups that are underrepresented in Computer Science to apply. Applicants are expected to have a strong interest in teaching and must hold an M.S. and at least 18 graduate credits in Computer Science or a related area by August 2024. MS or PhD in Computer Science is preferred. We encourage applicants with expertise and experience in all areas of Computer Science. Teaching assignments will be discussed and determined as part of the interview and hiring process. The Computer Science programs include the CS BS (concentrations - information science, computing science, data science), CS MS (concentrations - academic, bioinformatics, data science, professional), CS minor, CS teaching minor, and certificate in applied CS. Computer Science faculty have a history of collaborating on research and teaching with ISU faculty and Ph.D. students in biology, physics, geography, technology, mathematics, and other areas.
