Responsibility

The Global Trade Manager is responsible for the Noatum Logistics Global Trade Management program, including client compliance and trade projects. The Global Trade Manager’s responsibilities include being available for onsite and remote client consultation on trade issues. This role will provide client compliance training and assessments to ensure full adherence with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, certain high-profile shipments may benefit from oversight by the Global Trade Manager. Maintain strong relationships with Noatum Logistics global clients. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client’s business pertaining to supply chain and compliance requirements. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our compliance and trade solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Implement solutions to address and correct identified issues proactively. Provide root cause analysis to drive continuous improvements and execution of solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients, providing expert guidance and regulatory consultation on trade compliance matters including valuation, drawback, anti-dumping, Section 301 tariffs, CTPAT and trade agreements. Oversee annual client compliance assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with global trade, such as regulatory changes and supply chain disruptions. Ensure compliance with regulatory matters regarding trade policies, regulations, and company objectives using a risk-based approach. Execute customer’s strategic initiatives to drive continuous process improvement and create long-term value. Analyze both new and existing business to generate additional revenue opportunities. Provide compliance and regulatory market updates and trends to clients. Facilitate client facing compliance training sessions, including best practices, for client’s employees, evaluating and identifying potential risks and areas for improvement. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to assess our client’s programs effectiveness. Work in collaboration with the compliance team monitoring changes in regulation and identifying compliance risks. Assist in maintaining and updating client compliance SOP’s. Prepare timely management information and reports as specified and requested by the manager. Facilitate regular business review and follow-up on subsequent actions.
