Responsibility
The Clinical Value Analysis Admin is responsible for strategic sourcing, contract implementation, product evaluation and implementation, and facilitation of value analysis and project teams. This position enables the organization to simultaneously address the hospital's supply costs, patient care quality and financial outcomes through product choices, and product disruptions affecting delivery of care. Working under moderate supervision, this role works collaboratively with the hospital's supply chain staff, physicians, administration, and vendors to meet patient and staff needs through effective utilization of products and sourcing resources. Facilitates the entire Value Analysis Process to address the hospital's supply costs, patient care quality and financial outcomes. Utilizes product management software from project initiation to completion, product specifications and conversions, updating assigned reports, trials, and implementations. Collaborates with Contract Administration in contract portfolio maintenance such as product and price analysis for new contracts and track overall contract savings. Identifies standardization opportunities and interacts with all department leaders to develop, coordinate, and integrate cost management programs that support favorable patient outcomes and quality of care. Coordinates with all supply chain staff to address various issues and initiatives to manage cost and standardizations while working to improve processes, and the quality of patient care. Supports all requirements and provision in contract, including terms and conditions to ensure compliance with all laws and company policies. Collaborates with manufacturers and distributors in addressing product availability to prevent patient care delays. Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned
