As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Manager to oversee operations, train staff, manage scheduling, and ensure smooth, high-quality service. Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Manager to join our team. This role involves managing cleaning operations, leading and training staff, handling scheduling, and performing administrative tasks such as payroll and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential or commercial cleaning management and the ability to uphold high hygiene and safety standards. You must also be comfortable stepping in to perform cleaning tasks if needed and responding to on-call requests efficiently. All cleaning supplies and a company vehicle will be provided at the start of each shift and must be returned at the end of the shift. Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and to company standards. • Train and onboard new employees to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. • Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial areas as needed, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing. • Oversee laundry duties, such as washing, drying, and organizing linens and towels. • Manage floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning and maintaining hard surface floors. • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or maintenance needs. • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. • Handle customer service inquiries, including answering phones and booking appointments. • Manage scheduling tools to ensure proper assignment and coverage of cleaning shifts. • Track revenue and expenses and issue payroll accurately. • Respond to on-call needs efficiently and step in to cover shifts as required. Required Skills: • Maid or cleaning certification: Verification of certification or equivalent credentials. • 3-5 years of verifiable cleaning experience: Residential or commercial cleaning expertise. • High school diploma or GED: Minimum education requirement. • Experience with scheduling tools: Ability to manage staff schedules efficiently. • Lead generation experience: Ability to attract and convert new business leads. • Finance and payroll management skills: Experience tracking revenue, managing expenses, and issuing staff payments. • Excellent communication and customer service skills: Ability to answer phones, book cleanings, and resolve customer concerns. • Organizational and time-management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Physical stamina: Capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items. • On-call availability: Willingness to handle emergencies and cover shifts on short notice. Preferred Skills: • Associate’s degree in business or related field: Helpful for managing business operations. • Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and staff. • Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and practices: Familiarity with advanced tools and procedures. • Sales or business development experience: Skills in driving growth and increasing customer engagement. • Knowledge of the Houston area: Familiarity with local markets and customer needs.
