About Us: A local business in Hayward, CA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a cleaner. Responsibilities: • Thoroughly clean and sanitize the business premises, including floors, walls, countertops, and equipment • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all supplies are stocked and in their designated places • Wash and disinfect tools and equipment as needed • Assist with laundry duties, including washing and drying towels and aprons • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap • Notify management of any damages or repairs needed • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols Qualifications: • Previous cleaning experience preferred (experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper is a plus) • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment and not afraid of dogs or cats • Must be reliable and punctual • Ability to work independently and follow instructions efficiently • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift • Availability: Cleaning hours can be flexible but must be completed outside of regular business hours • Work Environment: Must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with pets present Benefits: • Flexible scheduling (2-4 hours per week for deep cleaning) • Competitive pay • Opportunity to work in a welcoming environment • Growth Opportunities: Potential for increased hours or additional responsibilities over time Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week Experience: • Cleaning: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: • Hayward, CA (Required) Work Location: In person
