Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060 Job Summary Responsible for greeting customers, taking food orders and completing cash register transactions in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Responsibilities 1. Prepares food items according to specifications 2. Handles point of sale payments 3. Takes and fulfills guest orders according to order and expectations 4. Maintains a clean, well-organized and sanitary work environment at all times 5. Ensures food quality, including tasting food for quality control 6. Responsible for supporting shift Supervisor with ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations 7. Assists in the resolution of customer issues and complaints and provides customer service recovery per guidelines Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience On-the-job training provided Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications ServSafe certified Preferred Educational Qualifications Associates degree from an accredited institution of higher education Preferred Experience Previous service industry or Chick-fil-A experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIES Able to deal with multiple tasks or projects at one time KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of safe food handling procedures; Knowledge of cash register processes; Knowledge of the Chick-fil-A brand, customer service and food services standards SKILLS Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), and time management skills; Knowledge of basic computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite); Strong attention to detail and follow up skills; Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette Equal Employment Opportunity Kennesaw State University is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
