Responsibility
The Center Administrator reports directly to both the center owner and the lead physician. Ensure all patients are greeted and directed through the registration process. Ensure that patients present the appropriate health insurance or assurances of ability to pay. Ensure collection of co-payments and/or full amount before patient leaves the office. Ensure generation of a bill for billing service for those patients with insurance. Intervene with billing company to reconcile patient questions concerning billing. Ensure all charts are transferred to a digital copy and original paper copy is shredded. Work in conjunction with RN to call back patients to ensure patient experience. Recruit, hire, and train a highly effective team. Build and manage a professional team capable of delivering high quality medical care. Identify each staff member has appropriate skills and is competent in their area of responsibility. Training includes, but is not limited to, requesting staff training for Drug Urine Collectors and BAT Technicians to ensure enough trained/certified staff are available at the center to perform any needed collections during all operational hours. Manage all human resource issues. These issues include hiring, orientation, performance reviews, performance feedback and terminations. Complete Employee File Checklist at time of new hire, including but not limited to, Job Description, New Hire Packet, Payroll Information, HIPAA instruction, and Company Policy & Procedure. This also includes issuing the Employee Handbook and Uniforms. Manage the facility assuring appearance, cleanliness, and safety, with particular emphasis on keeping the lobby and patient care areas clean. Ensure compliance with policies and protocols. Responsible for compliance in all areas including HR, OSHA, HIPAA, etc. Ensure center has all operational supplies to adequately service the patients. Ensure medical designate orders all medical supplies needed. Ensure nightly accounting of all cash receipts. Ensure financial efficiency for the center. This responsibility includes monitoring expenses including labor, supplies, and services used. Provide weekly accounting of all accounts received, pending, and outstanding. Understanding and diagnosis of center performance metrics. Review reporting for opportunities for improvement. OSHA Training for new hires within one month of hire date and annual training thereafter. Paychex HR Services will be utilized for Access to Exposure & Medical Records, BBP, Hazard Communication, and PPE. Training is to be scheduled by the CA and reported to DX

Must be motivational in a team environment. • Demonstrate exceptional patient interaction skills. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a supervisor role at a medical office. • Understanding of medical billing. • Understanding of HIPAA. • Computer/software skills.
