Responsibility

The Catering and Conference Services Manager will execute on-trend events from coffee service to VIP dining events on and off-campus while working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development and client's catering budget. This role will require organization, passion, and commitment. Ensure all HAACP standards are followed. Ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met. Identify customer needs and expectations and work within their budgets. Have a strong sense of professional polish to work with high-profile leadership and guests on campus. Promote a customer and client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs. Demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests. Maintain and improve service level resulting in increased customer satisfaction. Coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results. Educate and develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships

Sodexo is seeking our experienced Catering Manager - Catering and Conference Services Manager for Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.**RELOCATION Assistance is available for candidates who live more than 50 miles from the campus (in the contiguous US)! Our successful candidate will have excellent professional polish to work with high-profile leadership and guests on campus, sales experience to grow the catering program within the community and will excel at building relationships with Student Affairs and campus departments to work within their budgets for catering events. The Catering and Conference Services Manager will execute on-trend events from coffee service to VIP dining events on and off-campus while working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development and client's catering budget. This role will require organization, passion, and commitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract negotiation for conferences and events, along with conference program development. Our successful candidate will bring new ideas and Fresh Eyes to the existing program, focusing on innovation and on-trend menu development and presentation.
