Responsibility
Assist persons served with daily living activities, such as bathing, skin care, shampooing, dressing, personal hygiene (including dental hygiene), toileting (including bowel and bladder care), eating, administering medication, and range of motion exercises to reduce muscle atrophy. Assist persons served to and from bed and to and from wheelchair; assist with range of motion exercises and other activities to increase individuals’ muscle strength. Prepare meals. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc.; do laundry. Perform miscellaneous household chores to maintain a sanitary and comfortable environment for the persons served. Assist persons served to achieve goals and outcomes associated with building living skills to improve their independence and expand their quality of life. Escort persons served on trips into the community and in participating in outings and activities. Maintain good documentation with attention to detail; follow the daily requirements of each person’s care plan. Communicate in a clear, timely and professional manner with individuals, family members and team members at all times'
