Responsibility

Responsible for the procurement process, negotiation with suppliers, purchase order submission and follow up interfacing with internal customers and vendors. Compile and maintain information and records to prepare Purchase Orders. Process overstock and defective part returns. Place purchase orders, expedite, and provide customer service. Contact and maintain working relationship with vendors and suppliers for quote and rate/price negotiations. Research specifications of products not clearly identified. Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases. Ensure product file integrity. Maintain good customer and supplier relations. Reconcile receiving problems and troubleshoot. Accounting troubleshooting
